A video that went viral on social media shows the moment a car is thrown into the air by the strong winds produced by Hurricane Idalia.

The car then collides with another vehicle that was on the road.
The incident took place on a road in Charleston, in South Carolina in the United States.

Idalia made landfall in the Big Bend area of Florida on Wednesday morning as a powerful category 3 hurricane – the strongest hurricane to hit the Apalachee Bay coast.
Since then, Idalia has weakened into a tropical storm and moved inland over Georgia and the Carolinas.
